Cremeria Emilia, the good Emilian ice cream




    A couple of weeks ago a friend introduced me to this ice cream paradise: Cremeria Emilia.

    Here everything is the result of love, experience and commitment. The raw materials are fresh milk biological and products from all over Italy IGP and DOP and coming from SlowFood principals. The ice cream is prepared every day and is obviously super creamy and delicious.

    Another peculiarity is that here there are no paper cups (only those for take-away, and they are absolutely recyclable), but everything is made in waffle, some also manually rolled. There are also cones made with rice flour for celiacs. Small detail not to be overlooked: they fill you the bottom of the cone with melted chocolate.

    There are also available Sicilian fruit slushes, and the fantastic Emilia cake, made with egg yolk, mascarpone, chocolate sponge cake and gianduia cream. But not only that, here also uniforms and ceramic jars are produced by skilled and loving Emilian hands.



    I have been in the ice cream shop in Reggio Emilia (located in Via Emilia Santo Stefano 21), but there are two other stores in Parma (via Farini 29) and to Imola (via Appia 42).
