Turning for Rome you will surely have noticed the large amount of pizzerias by the slice and delicatessens scattered in every district of the capital. Obviously they are not lacking even in the neighborhood where this year I stayed for this short holiday at the beginning of 2013, Green Mount old. However, we were looking for a typically Roman one and so, scouring the length and breadth of the area, we came across the pizzeria rotisserie from Simone.
The place is quite small and develops for a long time. Most of the space is dedicated to the counter where you can admire pizzas with all kinds of toppings. Pizza by the slice is bought by the kilo, so I can't tell you if I spent less or saved. However, I can guarantee you that the quality of the food is felt and the pizzas are really tasty. I've spent 13 € in all for 8 pizza slices (absolutely not small) with different fillings such as cheese and courgette flower, eggplant and buffalo mozzarella, zucchini and provolone, cauliflower, in short of everything ... and we ate there in three, then. It is certainly a well-known place as people were constantly coming and going while waiting.
In addition to pizza, which I think is the most popular thing, you will also find fried foods, supplì, lasagna, cod, desserts. In my opinion there is nothing missing for a quick but tasty lunch break.
