La Valley of the Lakes is located in Trentino Alto Adige, a stone's throw from Trento, in the valley between Molveno and Riva del Garda. Peculiarity of the territory is undoubtedly the wine, namely the Nosiola wine and the Trentino Doc Vino Santo. From March 27 to April 14 in various locations in the Valle dei Laghi, the 19th Exhibition of these fine wines will alternate with the tasting of grappa di Nosiola and pomace of Trentino Doc Vino Santo.
"This wine - reads the press release - manages to reconcile immediacy, fragrance, simplicity with a range of unique aromas and scents: it becomes mellow, mellow, passionate and long-lived. Thanks to a sincere rootedness with the wine culture of the territory where it was born. Earth, water and wind: irreplaceable elements for Nosiola. The Ora del Garda, the indispensable, decisive breeze to dry the grapes and transform them into grains full of sweet natural essences of taste; indispensable natural elements to which is added the sincere wine-making experience of those who take care of these vines on the hills surrounded by lakes, between Garda and the Brenta Dolomites ”.
The event turns into a manifestation cultural and food and wine which celebrates culture, traditions and places from which the excellence of the Valle dei Laghi is born.
Rich the calendar of events: cultural proposals and food and wine tastings, insights into the local agro-wine reality and artistic-musical moments, trekking excursions in the nature of the Valle dei Laghi and live jazz and blues music concerts in the cellars.
This year's exhibition presents an important novelty: it is, in fact, a real one itinerary in the Valley of the Lakes which provides for the setting up in three wineries in the valley in rotation over the three weekends.
That's not all. Cultural and artistic fulcrum of the event Castel Toblino, an enchanting manor suspended in the waters of the homonymous lake. The exhibition will be set up inside "From the vine ... onwards", collective photographic exhibition on the world of grapevine in Trentino by A. Frisanco.
