Eco Christmas in Santarcangelo di Romagna

Santarcangelo di Romagna has found an inexpensive but effective way to celebrate Christmas: for some years it has replaced the traditional (and now somewhat boring) luminaries with decorations made with recycled materials. The great recycling it is already in its third edition and I assure you that last year the streets of the small village were really suggestive and the giant Christmas tree in colored plastic, which you could enter inside, was truly a show. FromDecember 8th to January 6th it will be possible to stroll through the streets decorated in a manner eco friendly.

It extends up to 3 February instead the initiative of animated nativity scenes. Not everyone knows that Santarcangelo is rich in caves and in the 200 meters of the public ones, two nativity scenes will be set up with statues about one meter high, which will tell the story of the birth of Jesus. The entrance ticket for adults is 3€, children get in for free. An unusual setting for an Italian tradition.
