I was around Vercelli a few months ago and I was able to admire the fantastic rice fields. One thing that is not imagined, an expanse of "watered" fields that will become rice. An ancient and long process that leads to "creating" one of the things I love most, but that I do not like in the kitchen, rice!
It will take place from 22 to 23 February at the Caresanablot Exhibition Center in Vercelli Fiera in Campo with a meeting entitled “Rice. Crops & cooking. Those who sow rice reap risottos ”. In these two days at the end of the month, haute cuisine will be the protagonist in this extraordinary agricultural event that comes to life thanks to theANGA, National Association of Young Farmers.
This year's edition will have a particular eye on signature cuisine, which will be the novelty for the public who will take part in this event. The most beautiful thing that I think interests all curious people who love cooking, are the tasty ones showcooking. Renowned chefs from the Vercelli area, but also from all over the country, will prepare artistic and inviting dishes under the eyes of the public, I bet very attentive, under the coordination of Witaly and with the presentation of Luigi Cremona. The dishes presented will have a single common thread, that of rice, for the rest there will be ample room for creativity, as it should be in the kitchen.
Rice will therefore be the undisputed protagonist of these two days dedicated to cooking within this event focused on agriculture and land products. Among other things, during these two days there will also be an exhibition on the best Anga products and a jury of experts in the sector will be elected to elect the Best Recipe, Best Chef and Best Product. If you are a lover of food, show cooking and rice, above all, you should not miss this opportunity.
