Free art on December 28 in state museums

On the occasion of the 2013 Christmas period, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT) has decided to give a gift to museum lovers.

Saturday on December 28st all state offices and places dedicated to art will be open free to the public for the whole day until midnight.

Until midnight because the event of 28 December also coincides with the initiative "Night at the Museum”Which, every last Saturday of the month, for 2013, allows visitors to extend their visits to museums and monuments until midnight.

It will be a happy occasion, for all Italians but also for foreign visitors, to dedicate the whole day to discover and rediscover the most beautiful places of art in our country.

Another novelty that MIBACT has recently given news is the extension relating to the events "A Night at the Museum" which, given the great success of 2013, will continue in January 2014 with the hypothesis of transforming them one day into a permanent initiative.

The project was conceived by the Directorate General for the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage. If you want to have more detailed information about the places and events of the event, you can connect to one of these sites: Beniculturali or Beniculturali valorisation.
