Alfredo at the ladder is a restaurant located in the center of Tivoli and offering different dishes from the Roman tradition. The place, already mentioned by Giuseppe in his advice on Tivoli, it is quite intimate with two rooms, one for smokers and one for non-smokers.
Open every day to lunch and dinner the menu is quite rich. The most typical dish is certainly the Straw and Hay Alfredo, even though I took the Strozzapreti all'arrabbiata. Not too spicy although quite good.
I seconds proposed from Alfredo are the lamb with the scottadito, the Florentine grilled, the Roman tripe, the escalopes with lemon, the grilled fillet and the morsels of veal in salmi. As soon as you enter, you can see the great fire which dominates the scene, it is there that all grilled dishes are cooked and prepared.
Alfredo is located in via Mazzini 1, quite easy to find and with ample parking in front. Also to spend a nice Sunday afternoon before going to dinner you can take the opportunity to take a tour in Villa Gregoriana, which is located right in front of the venue.
