The photo of the sandwich made by Pippo it does not render at all, I am aware of it, that's why you have to trust. I have been to eat this very famous sandwich (on facebook it has about 30 thousand supporters) one of these evenings and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by several little things.
First the place is located in center of Tivoli, about 40 minutes from Rome, not easy to get there by public transport, but if you have a car you can get there easily. Also because the place is not always open to opens from 22.30pm on. I swear it's not a joke :)
The room is located in via San Valerio and you can't eat inside. Basically this is a laboratory where in the evening they start making and selling sandwiches. You enter Pippo's and find a raised counter that already puts you in awe and lots of things like cold cuts, fish, jars of sauces, mushrooms ... lots of ingredients.
Sandwich chapter. These aren't just sandwiches, they are bombs. Inside there is everything and I have it eaten only half, a whole is really a lot! Usually a whole sandwich comes on 7.50€ but you eat in two quietly, also because if you arrive at that time you have certainly teased something before. Inside the club there are drinks, coca-cola, beer and various, in short, nothing is missing.
Inside the restaurant you don't eat so you have to take your own bag and take it home, or in any case go and eat it somewhere. From Pippo photographs cannot be taken and that's why mine doesn't make it unfortunately :( I did it in a bit of a hurry before tasting the sandwich.
