The park of the Poseidon Gardens
As soon as you enter the spa, you feel almost disoriented. The Poseidon Gardens are a thermal park of 6 hectares and develop in width and height. In fact, you can access several terraces, all immersed in a luxuriant nature typical of the Mediterranean scrub. Maritime pines, olive trees and colorful flowers make up the background landscape.
Streams of thermal water cross the route. There are sun beds and deck chairs where you can relax in the sun or rest between one thermal bath and another. The complex has more than 20 thermal pools outdoors and indoors, with water of all temperatures, from 28 to 40 degrees.
The water comes from thermal volcanic springs, which have beneficial effects on general health and in particular on the osteoarticular system, the respiratory system and the skin. You can choose between saunas, wellness programs, whirlpools, caves, waterfalls, Kneipp baths and a wide range of wellness treatments for face and body.
They also organize themselves gymnastics classes in the pool and yoga. Inside the Poseidon Gardens you will also find a small shop and three restaurants, everything you need to spend a day of total relaxation in Ischia.
The spa complex is so large that I recommend that you spend the whole day there to try all the treatments available. Alternatively, you can also choose to spend two consecutive days there and do things calmly.
The opening hours and the ticket price
The Poseidon Gardens are open 15 31 from April to October, from 9:00 to 19:00 The internal wellness center is open from 9:30 to 18:00. The entrance ticket costs 32 euro for the whole day and 27 euros for the half day. Children can also enter, at a reduced price, but access for them is prohibited in the spa area.
