Merano has been known as a spa resort since the early 1900s and in 2005 the new thermal baths were inaugurated. The hotel, designed by the Bolzano architect Matteo Thun, was inaugurated in 2006 and has 3 wellness areas. Above all, the Sky Spa with large outdoor relaxation areas, an infinity pool uncovered and heated to 36 °, 22 meters long and 7,6 meters wide, with internal and external access; open in all seasons, it is also equipped with micromassage stations. The Miramonti is a beautiful boutique hotel impeccably managed by the owners (Carmen and Klaus) with a personalized service of the highest level. The exterior architecture is typical alpine, while inside you will be amazed by the modern design that uses all natural materials such as wood and glass. The hotel is located at 1230 meters, immersed in 30 hectares of forest and with a spectacular view over the Val d'Adige, the Vigilio pass and the Dolomites. In the wellness area they certainly stand out the infinity pool of boiling water and the sauna in the woods. The restaurant that follows the slow food creed is also excellent. I am literally crazy!
