THEAgriturismo I Muretti it was a very pleasant discovery that is located a few minutes drive from my house, precisely in Osteria Nuova in Montecolombo. The site of the farm it is well done with lots of educational products, events, online reservations and a description of the farm. When I was there was even celebrated an event, I think a baptism and I must say that the place is perfect. I also returned in 2014 and I must say that the place has not changed one iota, indeed if possible it has even improved.
The Agritursimo is very spacious, the parking is large and a big park surrounds the cottage that offers wooden games for children where they can feel free without constraints, truly a paradise. The farmhouse offers two floors of tables, the upper floor open only in summer because it is located on the Terrace, embellished with Candles (and zampironi in summer), flowers and decorations. Honestly, in addition to classic events, I found this place also ideal for one romantic dinner given the beautiful harmony that is breathed both inside and outside.
A separate paragraph should be dedicated to landlady, a real zdora who knows how to do it with customers and has an immense passion for her work, you can see. The lady offers a service that in Emilia Romagna, but I would venture to say in Italy, is not very common: preparing dishes for those who follow a gluten-free diet. The nice thing is that it doesn't do it to do it, it doesn't do it because it makes fashion and because it brings customers it because it is niche, it does it because loves the customer and wants to make him happy, of this I am convinced you can see from the way he speaks.
I dishes for celiacs are the plates with a gold rim, so that no one is wrong. Plus not only does she have special attention but everyone waiters that at each passage at the table they indicated dishes without anyone asking for anything, just "for safety". Definitely a great place from many points of view. Do you want to know another? Here you eat really well and I'm not saying it to say.
- antipasti they are a bit special but very pleasant. Zucchini flowers but also fried cucumbers with batter (without egg), cheese and homemade jam, as well as Tuscan ham and finocchiona with piadina and bread prepared by the farm. I skipped the first ones and moved on to the second ones: rabbit with potatoes, cut with coarse salt and pork coup de grace with apples and currants (the one in the photo above), a photonic thing.
Finally coffee, limoncello also for celiacs and sweets, ice creams homemade with the fruits of the trees of the estate also for celiacs. Mine specifically was made with red fruits, plums and peaches, delicious. The bill? About € 20 per person… Definitely a very good price in my opinion both for the dishes and for the place. I highly recommend it and I think I'll be back soon :)
