A piston rod the first takes place National Festival of Italian Risotto at the Biella Fiere exhibition center in Gaglianico from 27 October to 4 November.
The food critic Edoardo Raspelli is the creator of this exhibition-market. The event was born in the province of Biella which, together with that of Vercelli, is historically the European capital of rice, for quantity, quality and variety of productions.
Ten thousand square meters of exhibition, dozens of stand of rice mills, farms, protection consortia, agritourisms, wineries and sausage factories in the area with hundreds of food and wine products. A rich program for an event dedicated to risotto and its traditions.
Among Head who will alternate in the kitchen in the preparation of the various dishes, include names of the caliber of Franco Ramella, Angelo Silvestro, Pietro Calcagno, Antonio and Emanuele Canato and many others.
