A magàra is a witch, a sorceress. But Antonella, owner of this delightful B&B, has absolutely no features. Indeed, smiling and helpful, he will talk to you about how he leaves Milan as soon as he can to recharge in Civita.
The Magarà It is in the historic center of Civita, practically next to the ducal palace, and has been obtained from a typical house, renovated with taste and touches of originality.
The bedrooms are four, on different floors and are all spacious and furnished in a simple but delightful way, all with independent bathroom, satellite LCD TV and DVD player. Each room has its own name (Diana, Dilla, Faustina, Mariuzza), which is that of the women who have lived in this house. Each room has a window or a balcony, to allow the gaze to rest on the profile of the mountains and the roofs of Civita.
The flagship is the typical breakfast not just sweet, where Anita takes care of preparing both desserts and cakes from the recipe books Arbreshë, both sausages and salty specialties of the place. Raffaele, on the other hand, collects fruit and vegetables every morning that complete the breakfast table.
A PC station is available to guests (there is no wifi), satellite TV, air conditioning, bar service. For animal lovers it will be important to know that the structure is "pet friendly"
In addition to Civita, we also stayed in the beautiful village of San Lorenzo Bellizzi, at the Casa Parco, a structure that however it is not yet open to the public being undergoing modernization.
However, this is a more suitable structure for groups and we will inform you about its opening as soon as possible!
However, I would like to underline that the most beautiful thing was the genuine and exquisite hospitality that they gave us, both in Civita and in San Lorenzo Bellizzi. The warmth, generosity and genuineness of all those who hosted us is what made our stay different from any other and that pushes us to recommend it to all readers of the blog.
