The restaurant-bar "The miason de champagne”, Located in Alvignano, in the third street of Corso Umberto I at number 50, in province of Caserta, is a very refined, elegant, quiet and at the same time familiar, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish cooked to perfection. Closed on Mondays, on Saturdays and Sundays, it welcomes customers by reservation only, so many people go there, even though it is not in the center or in a tourist city.
I recommend to everyone the"five" appetizer, in which fish is obviously the master: from shrimp salad in cocktail sauce to timbale of anchovies au gratin, to seafood salad, to fish with potatoes up to shrimp timbale. All accompanied by steaming bread with bacon and tomato bruschetta.
If you don't like fish, but still want to try this Alvignano gem, you can order a good one entrecote of meat or a succulent cut of veal. The owner, very kind and very helpful, will personally inform you about the origin at km 0 of the meats served in her restaurant.
