La Piazzetta is a small restaurant within the ancient walls of Calcata, a village that stands on a tuff spur not far from Rome. This is a small restaurant both in the dining room and in the small square in front of it, where on sunny days it is possible to eat, reservations are required especially on weekends.
A traditional and rustic restaurant with a menu full of homemade dishes made with products often at km0. Excellent first courses such as ragu, a handmade pasta with different condiments, such as cheese and pepper or gorgonzola and radicchio, but also the second courses and the wines deserve, in short, it is really worth traveling a few kilometers to reach this location and to know la Tuscia and have lunch with the dishes made by Gianluca, the chef of Piazzetta.
I prices they are really cheap and compared to the quality of the products I must say also low, I never thought it was so cheap, moreover all the staff is helpful and kind.
