I have been to Rome between summer and autumn, the ideal period to enjoy the climate and the streets of the center a little less crowded.
I had asked for advice on social media for a good b & b in the center and possibly cheap. The name then did the rest, immediately attracting me to its site, where it took me little to confirm my booking.
Once you arrive at Termini Station, take the Metro line A, direction Battistini. Get off in Cyprus and in 5 minutes you are at the b & b Camilla's Rome (Viale degli Ammiragli 67), where Cinzia and Camilla await you to welcome you into their home really like old friends.
The apartment is bright, clean and with modern furnishings. There are three bedrooms: LA DOLCE VITA, the Single where I slept, on the walls of which are hanging pictures with images from the film; ROMAN HOLIDAYS is the double and MAMMA ROMA is the Triple. There are two shared bathrooms (but you can agree and ask to have one for private use); breakfast takes place in the kitchen (where you will find fresh cakes, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, in the fridge you will find milk, fruit juices, yogurt) or on the terrace, if the weather permits.
How much did I spend at the end of September for a single night with shared bathroom? 44 euros. We are in Rome, finding better prices at this same quality is difficult. And then the added value: believe me when I tell you that I felt at friends' house; I will return to the next Roman trip because they gave me all their availability in case I had any problem, especially being traveling alone.
And then you took the house keys, payment made with a regular receipt and off you go… Rome is now yours!
