Lait Gelateria Alpina is a project born in April 2011 in Turin which within a year has spread to other cities in Italy, currently in Genoa, Genola and Rimini, soon it will also be in Rome, Bari and Milan. The characteristic of this ice cream is that it is composed of 70% of mountain milk of the highest quality. Furthermore, the ice cream is not prepared but is creamed at the moment to be tastier and creamier.
I tastes they are few but carefully prepared and of quality. In addition to milk cream mountain that also available with the addition of sauces and grains, there is alpine cream, 100% Arabica coffee, hazelnut from Piedmont, pistachio from Sicily, Piedmontese chocolate, gianduia, strawberry sorbet, lemon and apricot sorbet, finally whipped Cream.
The entire Lait project is managed, among others, also by Luca Montersino, the pastry chef of Eataly known among other things for the conduction of the program on the Alice channel of Sky where she performs live desserts. TO Rimini Lait is located in Viale Regina Elena 21, near the Rose & Crown and for the summer as a location it is excellent, for sunbathing and having a light meal with a good quality ice cream.
