If you are leaving for a hot and humid country, like Thailand or Vietnam, let's see together what must not be missing in your beauty case for a tropical-proof make-up.
In Japan, a very hot country and very humid in summer, I learned a couple of tricks and I'm putting them into practice in Vietnam, where it's even hotter. Asia, in fact of beauty e skin care, has a lot to teach us. Asian women know exactly how to protect their complexion from the sun and never give up on make-up, in all temperatures. Let's see what they are essential products, those to put in our beauty case before leaving.
1. It always starts from the base: a good one moisturizer with sun protection factor. Choose one in a “tube” package, which will allow you to gradually remove the product, which is excellent for hygiene and storage at these temperatures. I use the Vichy one.
2. Then we need a foundation. Try one minerale: powdered, and light, it is modular and very fresh, as well as being skin friend, since PLEASE DON'T GET contains silicones. Silicones aren't good in general, but in a hot, humid climate they absolutely are out! If you prefer, you can opt for one instead the perfect Coloured (those of the Erbolario are excellent).
3. We come to eye make-up, and also al trick number 1: the primer! Spread on the eyelid, it mattifies and makes the pencil or eyeliner last all day, just an imperceptible veil is enough. Best of all is the one I tried in Japan, Urban Decay's Primer Potion. But there are all brands and prices out there, like the Essence one, for example, which is great.
4. Mascara and waterproof pencil, to avoid the classic "melting" due to heat and humidity.
5. Light blush and if you want some bronzer to give you a more tanned complexion, at least in the first few days. Then, cipria to fix everything, with a nice big brush. Keep in mind that the powder is yours ally number one in hot and humid weather. For touch-ups during the day, keep some opacifying tissues: they are covered with powder and you will need them in an emergency! You can find them at Sephora.
6. Finally, the lips: moisturizing lipstick ma not too shiny nor glossy, so as not to reflect harmful UV rays for your lips! Another trick that I learned in Japan.
One last tip: drink plenty of water and wear a nice cwide-brimmed appeal to protect the face from the sun's rays. Moisturize and protect they always go hand in hand.
