Since 5 to 7 April Milan becomes the protagonist of contemporary art: 137 Italian and international galleries bring their best works to the fair in Milan for four days in the name of artistic research and innovation. MiArt, to his 18 edition, presents itself to the public with a strong innovative charge and an increasingly international outlook, with many new participations by foreign exhibitors.
The fair is divided into four sections: Established, which brings together the most established galleries on an international level, Emergent, which brings new galleries on show, THENnow, which compares nine pairs of emerging and established artists, and Object, dedicated to design. All for a dialogue between generations of artists and galleries, a confrontation in the exhibition space of a Milan increasingly engaged in the field of contemporary art and design.
The exhibition is accompanied by meetings with the protagonists of the international art scene, with curators, artists, art publishers and intellectuals from all over the world, but it is also a moment of interaction with the artistic institutions of the city, with the Pac, L'Hangar Bicocca, the Museo del novecento, a sign of a stronger understanding with the city.
It is definitely an appointment not to be missed, perhaps taking advantage of the day 'Sunday for a walk' of 7 April, when it will be possible to travel for all Milan metro lines with one ticket for the whole day.
