Until the 9 June a Ferrara the exhibition takes place at the Palazzo dei Diamanti The gaze of Michelangelo Antonioni. In this exhibition it will be possible to admire the extraordinary career of the Ferrara master, told starting from the precious heritage of works, objects and documents relating to the life and work of the director owned by the Municipality of Ferrara: his films and documentaries.
But not only the original scripts and stage photographs, the library, the disco, the personal and professional objects that speak of Antonioni's passions, the correspondence entertained with the major protagonists of the cultural life of the last century, from Roland Barthes to Luchino Visconti, from Andrei Tarkovsky to Giorgio Morandi. All in an exhibition that will drive lovers of the genre but also the most curious ones crazy.
Furthermore, a wide selection will be presented together with works by other artists and testimonies various of directors, actors, writers and intellectuals in a fascinating setting that will stage a story in images, sounds and words around the themes and polarities that have marked the poetics of the master.
