So ... put a Sunday on a small isolated and little-known mountain near home, in short, put a Sunday at Mottarone: the mountain between the two lakes in the province of Novara.
Whether you arrive from Lake Orta or Lake Maggiore, the climbing is challenging at times, but short and in less than half an hour you will reach the summit of this 1.500 m mountain with a strategic geographical position. When the weather conditions allow it, from the top it is possible to see the lakes of Orta, Maggiore, Varese and spire of the Novara Cathedral! A rich and breathtaking view!
In addition, those that, during the summer, are meadows intended for grazing, in the winter, are transformed into 21km of ski slopes, appreciated by most thanks to their classification: medium-easy to walk.
