Last summer I was in a village that had the shape of a hotel but which, if desired, was also a residence, the Serena Majestic from the Bluserena chain, in Montesilvano in the province of Pescara.
The structure of the Serena Majestic
Unlike the other villages in the chain, the Serena Majestic offers two formulas, one hotel and one residence.
The Bluserena chain was born right there, in Montesilvano, in the early 80s with the purchase, by the founder Carlo Maresca, of two hotels, the Serena and the Majestic, which were then transformed into a whole.
Today Bluserena counts 9 summer facilities, between 4 * villages and 5 * resorts, and a 4 * hotel on the snow-covered slopes of San Sicario in Piedmont.
The structure consists of 5 buildings directly on the beach, two dedicated to the hotel with 200 rooms and three dedicated to the residence with 280 one and two-room apartments.

Outside the village
Pescara is just 7 km from the village, with its history and its monuments, can also be reached by bicycle with the cycle path that follows the entire seafront.

How to get there
Getting to the Serena Majestic by car is really simple, in fact the area of ​​the great hotels of Montesilvano is located a few kilometers from the motorway exit Pescara North.
The parking lots of the structure are few, but in the large parking lot of the shopping center and congress center it is impossible not to find a place.
