Do you know what you really can't miss during your trip to Sardinia? The excellent cuisine of the three best restaurants on the Costa Smeralda!
La Sardinia it is one of the most popular summer destinations of our peninsula: crystal clear sea and good food. In particular, the Costa Smeralda it attracts many tourists every year, who go to Sardinia for its beaches and nightlife.
Here are the top three restaurants in Costa Smeralda to visit at least once in a lifetime, without spending a fortune.
1. Li Finistreddi - Porto Cervo
It is a gourmet tavern located in Arzachena. The restaurant is located inside a hotel, but is not for the exclusive use of customers. You can have an aperitif by the pool and have dinner. Always different menu that follows the seasonality of raw materials. The atmosphere is informal, but refined. The kitchen is open and everyone can admire the chefs at work in cooking fish, meat and vegetables on the grill. Among the best dishes that I recommend: the cod tagliata and the mortadella cream, celery and puffed barley salad. The advice is to leave room for desserts, all homemade.
2. Bambusa - Porto Rotondo
Another well known tourist spot of the Sardinia è Porto Rotondo. And it is in the new dock that the Bambusa restaurant is located: a wonderful location to say the least. It is a beautiful seaside restaurant with a terrace full of sofas where you can spend wonderful evenings with friends. A new and refined restaurant, both in the furnishings and in the raw materials of the dishes offered. The cuisine is Mediterranean and inspired by the major world cuisines, ranging from typical western to oriental flavors. In addition to a lunch or dinner, at Bambusa it is possible to stop for a brunch or an aperitif. Very good are the salads with an exotic taste for a light dish, but I also recommend the salmon tartare with apples and the glazed salmon. Great value for money for being a central restaurant in Porto Rotondo.
3. The Fisherman - Porto Cervo
It is defined as the only real restaurant within the Costa Smeralda. The Pescatore is a point of reference for those who love seafood. The location leaves you speechless with its view of the marina, a very refined place. The macaroni alla chitarra with lobster and saffron and the half-moons of fish with fresh pear are excellent to try. This is a not exactly cheap restaurant, but I assure you that its cuisine is worth trying at least once, especially for a nice romantic dinner.
The staff is attentive and discreet and the availability is excellent.
