In a pleasant courtyard in the central street of Orta San Giulio hides Sweet idea, ideal refreshment after a walk along Lake Orta and a paradise for tea, infusions, chocolate and coffee lovers. You enter a first room where you are captured by the aromas and enchanted by the countless ones tea boxes, pralines, coffees from all over the world. You take a seat in a room with small colored tables, which barely manage to contain the numerous and complex menus of hot drinks.
The choice is wide, including refined tea blends from China, Japan e India, or infusions of flowers and aromatic herbs. You can try the Matcha Cappuccino, an alternative version of the classic Italian drink made with matcha, the finely crafted traditional Japanese green tea: a mix of oriental and western flavors for a healthy drink with an unusual taste.
La real gem are the teas that bloom in the teapot. Prepared by Chinese masters by hand, they are small balls made from dried and sewn green tea leaves. Once immersed in boiling water, the tea balls they open like buds and reveal the beautiful flower hidden inside, in a kind of flowering process inside the teapot. You can choose between six variants, with different shades of flavor, colors and more or less elaborate compositions, for a tea break that also becomes a feast for the eyes.
