THEautunno it is timidly arriving and many want to welcome it by celebrating the products that the new season brings with it: a Morro d'Alba they chose to do it with wine and truffles.
This village in the province ofAncona is now known for the production of DOC wine "Lacrima di Morro d'Alba”And the celebration that I am presenting to you today is born from the combination of this wine with truffle of Acqualagna.
From now, 19 October until Sunday 21 October, two Marche excellences marry on the tables of “Lacrima e Tartufo”, where it will be possible enjoy and choose from the many specialties prepared by skilled cooks; plus soups and toast, fried, grows of polenta, mulled wine and chestnuts.
Strolling along the walkway La Scarpa (Morro d'Alba is in fact the only fortified Italian village that can boast a walkway, the shoe precisely, fully covered and which still retains the arches), you can taste ancient recipes by the Chef by the chef Claudio Colaone. A visit to the "Utensilia" Museum is also recommended, where the characteristic tools of the sharecropping world are collected, which marked the life of the Marche peasants until a few decades ago and helped shape the current hilly landscape that surrounds Morro d'Alba.
