If I had to recommend the 3 best ice cream shops in Rimini, in order of preference and my personal taste, you absolutely must not miss the opportunity to go to these three.
Pure & Bio
Puro & Bio is the ice cream shop located in via Roberto Valturio 39, a few steps away and reachable in a few minutes on foot from the historic center of Rimini. Its peculiarity, as the name also indicates, are the fresh and organic products with which the ice cream is prepared. The main feature, however, is not only this. Puro & Bio is an ice cream shop also suitable for those with food intolerances, here you can find in addition to the classic ice cream that of gluten free, ideal for vegetarian and vegan. Whatever type of ice cream you choose, at Puro & Bio you can't go wrong!
Among the flavors that I prefer the most and which I recommend: crunchy cream, pistachio, malatesta and poison (dark chocolate rice ice cream). The prices, despite the fact that the ice cream is organic, are in the Rimini average: small cone / cup at € 2,00, average € 2,50, large € 3,00. The tubs instead of ice cream range from half a kilo to € 7,00 up to 1 kg of ice cream for € 16,00. Do not miss the ice cream cakes, the waffles with ice cream, the classic or rice yogurt with various pralines and fresh fruit, the ice cream bowls and the mascarpone jars. Characteristic is also the modern design and the size of the room that allows you to enjoy ice cream both inside and outside. Sirius
While Puro & Bio can also be found in other cities, this is an entirely Riminese ice cream parlor! Sirio in Rimini has two outlets, one in via XXIII Settembre 154 near the Rimini Fair and another in via Acquario 17 near the historic center. It is a perhaps still little known ice cream parlor in Rimini but the artisan ice cream is absolutely one of the best in the city.
Here you will find classic flavors, from creams to fruit flavors, but each of them prepared with fresh ingredients and you can feel the difference. Among my favorites the lemon flavor (very fresh and thirst-quenching in summer) and the crunchy taste made with the crunchy almond, unique! In addition to the ice cream from Sirio I recommend you try the ice cream cakes including the one with cream and Nutella and chopped hazelnuts .. inimitable! On request they also prepare customized ice cream cakes.
The Pelican
This too is a whole Riminese ice cream parlor and Rimini boasts well 6 points of sale (including 1 in Riccione). The most historic is located in the center, in via Mentana, while the others on the Rimini seafront, excellent stops for tourists on vacation. Since 1984 Il Pellicano is one of the most popular ice cream parlors in Rimini for great variety of tastes (about 50) but not only. In Rimini it is customary to go to Il Pellicano both in winter, to delight with the hot crepes with Nutella and chocolate fondue and in the summer for grilled ice cream, crepes with ice cream, ice cream cakes and yogurt with various fruit and pralines. If you are looking for a place where you can have a delicious snack in Rimini at Il Pellicano you are in the right place! All outlets are large enough to have tables and chairs both inside and out. Among the flavors that I prefer and their original invention are the "Tornado", "Alabama" and the "Pinolata" ice cream cake.
