It opened yesterday and will be open until June 16th the exhibition on Titian in Rome, artist of the '500 whose fame touched all the most important courts in Europe. From the “Concerto e la Bella” of Palazzo Pitti to the “Flora degli Uffizi” passing through the “Pala Gozzi” of Ancona and the “Danae” of Capodimonte; these are just some of the best known works by Titian that will be exhibited at the Quirinal Stables in Rome.
“Visiting the exhibition - reads the press release - it will be possible to retrace the salient features of the unstoppable rise of the great Italian artist. The event was realized thanks to the support and loans of the greatest Italian and foreign museum institutions to make the general public understand the exceptional nature of the Venetian artist. Decade by decade, Titian's entire career will be represented at the highest level emphasizing the masterful sense of color and the evolution of a brushstroke capable of going beyond the limits of the pictorial imagination ".
Interesting is the work accompanying the exhibition performed by the University Center of Visual Arts of the University of Bergamo. The studies compared and outlined the commonalities between the autograph works of Titian and those of the workshop in order to highlight the evolution and pictorial progress of the artist.
