La Trattoria La Casalingha, is located a few steps from Piazza Santo Spirito, where before going to dinner or lunch you can have a good aperitif from Volume on the tables indoors, or outdoors if it's summer. The Trattoria is always full, I tell you because I was lucky enough to be there around 12.30 but already 15 minutes later the place was full and there was no more room until 14. They had to send people away, that's it.
The place is not very small but it is always full. The good fortune of the location of the restaurant also offers the opportunity to many foreigners and tourists to try real Florentine and local cuisine. Here the prices are affordable and the Florentine is around € 30 per kg. I took a mixed Tuscan appetizer e overcooked with Chianti. All excellent. The homemade dessert was less Tuscan but very good, the white profitterol. Finally, half a liter of house wine and water, for a total of € 30 per person. But you also have to take into account a Florentine on the other side, that's why the bill was a bit salty.
Only thing I have to recommend is to book. The fact is this, many Florentines come here and it shows in the people who are sitting at the table next to you. However, the owner was keen to clarify that he generally reserves the table for Florentines, and perhaps I rightly say, foreigners or tourists in general must pass by and see if there is room. After all, a place like this must take its regular customers into account. Good luck :)
