Il Santa Maria restaurant it is found at 100 meters from Tower of Pisa, in via Santa Maria 105/106 and perhaps it is also for this reason that it is in a very high position in the opinions of TripAdvisor. I personally have not found anything special, quite the contrary.
In fact, Tripadvisor reads about excellent dishes and wide choice of wines. So maybe I have to correct myself because maybe I should try some dishes chosen from the menu first. If you happen to be here by chance, however, please do not take the classic tourist menus at 12 e 15€, in my opinion it's not worth it.
THEappetizer they will bring you is this one above. Nothing too elaborate, that bianchetta stuff is not too good a rice salad. I left half of everything on my plate. The first, on the other hand, is good penne with eggplant and other vegetables. Finally one m to finish the menu that I didn't take because I didn't like it.
Honestly a little bit for a good plate of pasta and water, even if it was the 12 € menu it wasn't worth it to me at all. If you have already been there and want to give me your opinion, given the discrepancy with those of Tripadvisor, I am very pleased.
