The title should be: Where not even get close for a second, in Rome. I slept there and it was one very bad experience. The Hotel Il Castelletto, b & b, it is not clear if it is a b & b or a hotel, but let's forget, it does not have a night porter and patience, but you must arrive by 22.30 pm or stay outside.
The Hotel is located a little outside Rome, in the San Pietro area, broadly speaking, on foot you do not go anywhere you have to take the car or the means but during the day. The Hotel from the outside also looks nice, it looks like a small castle in fact. From the inside no, it looks more like a prison, a hovel, the prisons of the Castlehere. The first room we were given was really obscene. You couldn't even see the flaws because they were all. From bed to bathroom, the bathroom was run down, dirty, with rust and amenities that probably haven't changed in decades. We spent a while deciding what to do without even being able to take off the jacket to put it down somewhere. Then I decided to go ask for change room.
- Excuse me, would it be possible to change rooms? What we have is indecent.
- We're full, ma'am.
- I tell you, it's indecent.
- Mmmmmm now that I think about it maybe there is one but it is near the kitchen, and in any case they are all like this if not worse.
- Or if it's cleaner that's fine.
After moving to the "new" room, we realized that it was slightly more welcoming even if still dirty. Our bedroom window was on the kitchen, but that's okay… in fact it would have been okay if the room had been cleaned, and instead. The towels were broken (BROKEN!), indefinite spots on bedspreads and sheets, hair and hair in the sheets, we slept without - in short, a nightmare. Also the hotel had paper walls, you could hear the gentleman of the neighboring room snoring and in the morning we were awakened by the kitchen cups.
We left the hotel at 8.23. Experience that I do not recommend.
