Sleeping cheaply in Bolzano, perhaps in a hostel. Single rooms or dorms with multiple beds for an affordable stay in Bolzano, even during Christmas.
Last week I spent a couple of days in Bolzano. I know this city well: I lived there for a few years and I return there periodically. When I find a place, I always stay in the hostel. It is found at two steps from the station of trains and for me it represents an excellent solution for the price-quality ratio.
The hostel has single rooms only (which always sell out) and quadruple rooms which cost respectively 28€ and 21,5 euros per night. Even in the quadruple rooms, the arrangement of the beds is such as to allow some privacy for guests and usually each room is equipped with a double service.
In the price it is including a breakfast buffet which is served from 7,30 to 9,30 in the restaurant. The hostel has a lobby with sofas, tables, TVs and machines for snacks and drinks. You will also have the password for a wifi internet free for the duration of the stay.
However, it is still a hostel, even if it is located in a modern and clean structure in the city center. And therefore you must also endure some inconvenience like that of make the bed and to deposit the used sheets at checkout. For the rest I highly recommend it.
