La Val di Non it is a land rich in nature, traditions, culture and excellent cuisine, especially at the Primo Sole agritur, in the hamlet of Cles, Mechel, where I stayed for a weekend in October.
The structure is new, lovingly and carefully managed: the rooms are large and clean, with the typical wooden furniture and pastel colors, all have private bathrooms, except one (usually dedicated to families) consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom. In the common room where breakfast is also served and connected to the kitchen, the Wireless.
The strong point of the Agritur is definitely thequiet atmosphere and "at home" that you breathe, Rosario and Mrs. Maria are really available and kind in welcoming guests. Breakfast alone is worth the overnight stay at the Primo Sole: a riot of homemade cakes and desserts makes waking up a very magical moment, all accompanied by apple juice and homemade jams.
Online you can also see the initiatives organized by the Poletti family, such as the “hands-on” workshops and picnics at “Prà Long”, but also many suggestions and practical indications on how to move around the area.
Finally, the prices are absolutely accessible and allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy a weekend here (the maximum price is 74 € for a double in high season), in contact with nature and excellent culinary traditions.
