World cuisines in Turin: 3 places not to be missed

For those who love ethnic cuisine, there are no borders: three places in Turin that you will not be able to forget. Ready to mark addresses?

In Turin you eat very well, often in well-kept rooms surrounded by elegant frames. The restaurants vary from low cost to chic and starred cuisine, but in general it is quite easy to find particular, but also cheap, niches.

Turin is also one of the most multi-ethnic cities in Italy, this aspect is fortunately also reflected on the food front. Therefore, not only Piedmontese agnolotti and fried mix, in the elegant Savoy city it is also possible to taste excellent ethnic dishes.

Here 3 ethnic restaurants in Turin: all low cost and with an original character, for a different and never predictable lunch or dinner.

1. Ramen Bar Akira, C.so V. Emanuele II 29

We are located in the center, near the Porta Nuova Station: Ramen Bar Akira offers taste and tradition. Its Japanese cooks prepare an exquisite one Ramen - home made - to which you can combine excellent side dishes such as corn, pork, egg, white leek.
The offers are seasonal and the choice of Ramen is quite varied: from more or less spicy, vegetarian, spicy: all delicious!

The menu doesn't just offer Ramen, there are many other great Japanese dishes to choose from: Gyoza are highly recommended (crunchy to the right point) and Fish Vans (Steamed mini bun with fried shrimp, lettuce, mayonnaise).

For lovers of Japanese Curry, Da Akira certainly could not miss the Curry Don with white rice, potatoes, carrots, onion, curry sauce, coriander.

You will go out with a full stomach without spending a lot, the staff are really nice. Particular attention is paid to girls and boys: for them special menus, paper placemats and colored pencils!

2. Hula Kitchen, via Andrea Doria 3

A stone's throw from Via Roma, in the center, this place will make you want to try the entire menu. It is a very small restaurant, but if you arrive far from the rush hour you will find a place. Moreover, Hula Kitchen offers the Take Away service.

With Hula Kitchen, Hawaiian cuisine also arrives in Turin: get ready to live a colorful and original culinary experience, full of influences and gastronomic mixes.

You can taste the Poke: typical Hawaiian dish based on raw fish, excellent both as an appetizer and as a main course. My advice is not to overdo the orders because the courses are really generous. At Hula Kitchen you can combine your Poke Bowl, choosing varieties of rice and condiments, or rely on the cooks and choose a ready-made bowl.

Another strong point of the place (my favorite) is the Sushi Burrito: the freshness of sushi in the form of a burrito. Seven exquisite varieties that explore the flavors of the world. I loved theAtlantic Burrito, with jalapeños: a crunchy, fresh and abundant dish!

If you are not in the mood for great experimentation, you can enjoy the classic rolls: they are really good.

To accompany it all, I recommend the Hawaiian craft beer: Hula Beer.

3. Oh Crispa! Via Belfiore 16bis / D

The best local Chinese street food in Piedmont according to Gambero Rosso. A great presentation, right? Seeing is believing.

We move to the most lively and full of clubs in Turin - San Salvario - to discover Oh Crispa! A delightful place where you can enjoy high quality chinese street food.
Generally in Italy we are used to a very stereotyped Chinese cuisine, get ready for change and try truly new flavors for our palates.

Everything is freshly prepared, the ingredients are carefully selected and ea km 0, the proposals on the menu are few and, as is known, this is often synonymous with care and attention to the smallest detail offered.

Here's what you can't help but try: i ravioli stuffed with broth (Xiao Long Bao), the steamed bun coming from Taiwan (Gua Bao) and le Shanghai crepe, very light and tasty.

To taste the ravioli correctly, you will find detailed instructions on each table: you will see how fun it will be to pierce the ravioli and drink the broth!
The rice vinegar cups will accompany your meal; don't miss a chinese beer or olong black tea.

Abandon yourself to Chinese traditions that we can get to know in detail thanks to well-kept places like this, here is the beauty of living in an interconnected world: being able to travel while remaining in the same city.
