In recent days I found myself working in the Bologna area. So I stayed at the Zanhotel Centergross, in the locality of Bentivoglio. A decidedly large accommodation facility about 8 kilometers from the center of Bologna. The first impression was that of entering a level hotel but definitely a bit kitch. Oh well de gustobus, right?
The spaces are very large and also the double single use, ad 89 euros with breakfast, it was really great. The furniture in the room was always kitsch, however comfortable bed, large room and very large services too. Nothing to complain. The only negative is the breakfast. Even if most of the clientele is working, therefore always in a hurry, and apart from the clients for the various fairs of the period, I cannot accept that such a "mega" hotel does not have fresh pasta of the day and does not take care of the breakfast time. Were all frozen. Not only that, at the entrance of the breakfast room the usual sliced fontina cheese and salami, then jams, cereals, and cappuccino or coffee from the machine, orange juice. Oh no, guys. So there we are.
Bentivoglio is a little out of the way if you decide to go for a ride in the center of Bologna, perhaps in the evening. Therefore either you are driving or you need to call a taxi.
