Who has been in at least once Spain will know the chain 100 Montaditos, a different fast food chain as they don't serve burgers but 100 different types of very small sandwiches and blonde beers on tap.All this at very small prices, I dare say Spanish, so much so that a mug of beer is only € 1 if accompanied by a sandwich, from one to two euros for all sandwiches, two euros for yummy tacos and so on.
The strong point of this chain is that there are no waiters, but all customers have one sheet on which to mark your orders to be sent to the kitchen, when the montaditos are ready the customer will hear their name being called, a bit like at Starbucks, remember the same way of serving right? 100 Montaditos is not only present in Spain, but currently also in Colombia, Mexico and the United States.
The real news for us Italians is that 100 Montaditos seems to be arriving in Rome too. The news was immediately launched on social networks and the event should have taken place on 2 September in Rome, of course, with the inauguration of a venue in Piazzale Ponte Milvio. At the moment everything seems to have stopped on social networks, so much so that the inauguration has been canceled and postponed to a date to be decided. Too bad for those who wanted to taste these specialties again even in the beautiful Roman city, we hope more than anything else that it is not a hoax.
