To the beautiful fig is a small wine shop and restaurant in the center of pennabilli, in the Rimini hinterland in Valmarecchia. I would define it more as a small tavern since the tables in the basement are certainly not many.
In fact, the stone restaurant has the bar and wine bar on the upper floor, while the kitchen and the tavern room are downstairs. After skating for a long time on the nearby ice rink, in Piazza Montefeltro, we decided to take something quick before leaving for Rimini. Being a wine shop, the wine list is well looked after, but we were interested in something less demanding, which does not mean light! Border cuisine is offered, at times from the Marche and Romagna regions. Leafing through the menu we also find a menu of the day a 17 € with an appetizer, a first course, a second course made only of cold cuts and a dessert. But I only noticed it later, since we were very hungry and we asked what they could prepare us for the flight.
And so after a classic crostino (nothing exciting), I approached a strozzaprete with a dressing that I don't remember, but they were tasty. Maybe a little too much pepper, but I appreciated them. All accompanied by water and a house red wine in bulk. With 16 € I came out full, but not really satisfied. Will be for another time.
