There is a reason to visit Verona during the Christmas parties and this reason is the famous white comet star that majestic comes out of the Arena: 70 meters high, 78 tons of weight. For almost thirty years this sculpture has represented the arrival of the holidays for Verona and is always an emotion to behold. And despite its age, its architecture is still current, not to say innovative.
Born from the mind of the architect Rinaldo Olivieri, the star was actually born as the symbol of the international exhibition of nativity scenes held inside the arena. This year the exhibition is completely renewed including 400 works from all over the world: cribs international, regional nativity scenes, dioramas but also works inspired by the theme of the nativity, all in a magical setting such as the interior of the ancient Roman Arena, whose arches are set up and illuminated to host the exhibition.
Since 1 December to 20 January open every day including holidays from 9 to 20
