Although it is already late October I want to suggest a possibility for those who will visit Cremona in the coming months: I just discovered the existence of the Cremona City Card 2012, its validity is only until December but the price of only 5€ makes it convenient even for those who intend to stay in the city for just a day or a few hours.
This Card offers a range of discounts (and also some free tickets, for example for guided tours) for various cultural attractions, restaurants and hotels in the area, the covered territory is in fact not only of Cremona city but also of other more peripheral areas but still of cultural importance such as Cream, Soncino and Casalmaggiore.
To give some examples, among the discounts offered you can find reductions on tickets to visit the Torrazzo and the Baptistery, but also the enchanting Ponchielli theater, discounts for overnight stays in hotels such as Of the Arts Design Hotel and the recently refurbished Hotel Continental. The list also includes restaurants, bars, shops and delicatessens.
Why not take advantage of this Card also on the weekend between 16 and 18 November, during the Festa del Torrone?
