Low-cost isn't exactly the first adjective that comes to mind when I think of Habanero restaurant, but it is worth keeping in mind for a special evening or when you want to eat a fish dish a little more sophisticated than the average.
The local, at the height of the lifeguard 140, it's cute, lying on the sand right in front of the sea. At the suggestion of the waiter, we order, to begin with, some of the dishes described on the menu page entitled "the chef recommends”: Artichokes stuffed with squid, medallions of tuna cutlet, seared canestrini on Jerusalem artichoke cream with fried Jerusalem artichoke.
The dishes are treated and well presented; the easily divisible portions for the number of diners so that everyone can comfortably serve themselves and taste them. As the last starters we choose acitrus octopus salad from the page of the classics and a tartare of local tuna with artichokes from that of raw foods.
Let's skip the first ones - although I would like to try the first later black ravioli with squid and zucchini - and let's move on to the main courses: prawns in salt and sliced tuna with sesame, soy sauce and ginger - the latter really good!
Finally the desserts: cassata semifreddo with chocolate sauce, sesame crunchy millefeuille with mascarpone mousse and berries - phenomenal! - and chocolate tasting - of course accompanied by a glass of rum! To try.
