THEHotel at the Castle is a hotel located in the center of Bassano del Grappa. Tripadvisor puts it fifth out of 8 hotels that are nearby and I have to say that while I haven't tried all the others, I don't think it's one of the best.
The Hotel has 3 stars, about 20 rooms and a small breakfast room. The rooms are a bit older, but nice, like the whole structure. There are no cards for the doors, not even keys to take away once you leave, but big and heavy keys which must be delivered every time you leave. There reception is not open even all night and if you go out then on your return you have to ring and wait for someone to open the door with an automated system and take the key yourself. What this very unsafe, for the series if I had taken away the mac I would not have left it in the room.
A double room the 85€ even if the breakfast is not included in the price and costs 6 € per person, a little bit. Finally the rooms. Very nice, with television, tidy bathroom, shampoo and shower, all quite functional, only drawback: the walls. Between one room and the other where the wardrobe has been placed, the upper part is "perforated", without a wall, therefore you hear everything :( I even woke up because the couple from the other room were just talking, not to mention the shower or the hairdryer, in short, quite annoying.
