Ready for the buskers and street artists festival in Pennabilli? Note then that the eighteenth edition of Artists in the square in Pennabilli, in the upper Valmarecchia of Rimini, and is considered one of the main events in Italy among the events dedicated to street artists.
This year I have no intention of losing it, also because it will be the edition of records with over sixty international companies, as many as 200 artists and shows everywhere for this small medieval village in the hinterland of Rimini.
pennabilli it is just over 40 kilometers from the coast and honestly I recommend you take a trip to get out of the usual routine of the Rimini seafront promenade to enjoy clean air, green hills and visit this small village made famous by the late poet Tonino Guerra.
Twenty-four show points will be set up in the historic center of Pennabilli and visitors will attend moments of theater, music of all kinds, dance, magic, juggling and much more. There is also the facebook page dedicated to the event to stay updated on the performances or see the photos nor the dedicated twitter hashtag that is #artistiinpiazza.
There will be many refreshment points or foreign tourists. Pennabilli is a truly delightful village and when you wander through its medieval alleys do not miss to visit theGarden of forgotten fruits and the museum The World of Tonino Guerra. As every year, you will also find the Palacirco, a covered space in case of bad weather, and the defined artisan products market the usual and the unusual.
Access to the event has a cost, also because I imagine that maintaining an event of this level costs and prices range from 8 € of Thursday 5 June ai 12 € Sunday 8. Fortunately there are also packages but personally I would have made more popular prices. Admission is free up to 14 years and parking is free, however all useful information can be found here on the event website.
Being a small village, do not be surprised if you will find cars parked everywhere, it is a very well-known festival and much visited especially by foreigners, so the parking lots will fill up quickly. On Thursday 5th the event will open at 19 pm, but from 6 June onwards it will be possible to access Artisti in Piazza from 15 pm.
