Italo Train is this year's beautiful transport discovery. I've already talked about it thoroughly on mine personal blog and from today Italo has one more novelty. The new line will start from today Venice - Padua - Bologna. The link will allow you to reach Rome da Venezia (and vice versa) very easily.
Since October 3 2012 the service of the new routes will be official. From today, tickets can be purchased on all channels, on the official website italotreno.it, via the call center, in an authorized travel agency or at the automatic ticket machines located inside the Case Italo, the reference points within the stations reached.
The new races of Italo from Venice will therefore allow to arrive at Mestre, to continue towards Padova, Bologna, Firenze e Rome. The timetables are already official, the first train is at 7:40 am, arriving in Roma Tiburtina at 11:20 am and in Rome Ostiense at 11:37 am. The first departure from Roma Ostiense is at 7:24 am, arriving in Venice at 11:23 am. Not bad for someone who has appointments in the morning.
THElast run from Venice is at 18:37, arriving in Rome at 22:20, but in Rome the last trip to Venice is at 18:54, arriving at 22:53.
