Friday 8 March: Women's Day. There are many initiatives in the area of Verona to celebrate this day, let's see some.
From 19.00 to 21.00 the restaurant Al Calmiere di San Zeno di Verona offers a special aperitif dedicated to Women's Day. Somellier Luigi Poli will teach the celebrated to create a fun happy hour, creating simple aperitifs (alcoholic or not) and special morsels with kitchen leftovers. Participation fee: 11€.
At the end of the aperitif, you can continue the evening with a dinner offered at the cost of 30€, drinks included. Starting from 20 to Montemezzi restaurant Vigasio a special evening: themed menus, music and Latin American dances in the company of the GardaDanze guys and cocktail bars throughout the evening.

The ProLazise association instead organizes in Dogana Veneta Art'è Donna, an evening dedicated to female art. Admission: € 10. Aperitif and to follow the theatrical show Better alone that so I choose who badly to accompany me, fragments of monologues by L. Litizzetto, L. Costa, D. Fo, S. Benni, P. Almodovar.
Tragicomic play on the female universe inspired by Liquid Love by Z.Bauman at 21 pm refreshments and finally concert by the trio Sabor de Lua the voice of the female. Indie folk cover.
In the historic center at 20.45 pm Villa InCanto puts on stage at Palazzo Camozzini the Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini. In the exclusive Veronese noble hall a stone's throw from Piazza Erbe, art, history and bel canto come together to create a unique and unforgettable evening. The artistic director Maestro Riccardo Serenelli it will guide the viewer through the score, highlighting those details that often escape even the most expert listeners. The work is represented in just over an hour in its best parts. The proximity of the artists and the interaction with the public make everything more realistic and engaging.At the end of the evening there will be a small aperitif with the artists.
Lastly at Valpolicella thermal baths an evening of well-being and relaxation with the sixth appointment of the “Infinite Nights” dedicated for the occasion to Women's Day. From 19 pm to midnight four hours designed exclusively for the mind and body, with a splendid regenerating evening at the Spa.
