The thirteenth edition of the Garda Jazz Festival, a review of jazz music that, this year too, it will retrace some of the most beautiful views of the Alto Garda.
The Festival extends from 24 June to 14 July in the traditional itinerant formula among some truly suggestive locations: the Venetian Bastion of Riva del Garda, the medieval village of Canale di Tenno, the Castles of Drena and Arco, the long lake of Torbole, Malcesine and Limone, the Rocca di Riva del Garda and the squares, the beaches of the various centers, will be the background of the various evenings.
The main program will range from the most varied genres and artists. The festival, main program, will open on Wednesday 26 June in Malcesine with i Sax Four Fun in concert on the sailing ship "Siora Veronica" and on June 27 with Mauro Campobasso Solo to the beautiful Bastion of Riva del Garda. It will then continue on June 28 in the medieval village of Canale di Tenno with the Nicola Costa Trio. After that there will be the Petrina Quartet in Rocca in Riva del Garda on 29 June and then it will be the turn of the orchestras with the Jazz Orchestra Set June 30 in Arco and the Futura Orchestra and Luca Donini on 2 July in Limone sul Garda.
Then the second week will open with Mystic River: Saverio Tasca, vibr, Stefano Pisetta, batt, Stefano Menato sax, Stefano Colpi cb at the elegant Hotel Lido Palace also in Riva del Garda on 3 July, Bebo Ferra Solo in Nago on 4 July and 5 i Pink Floyd Project - Savoldelli, Bardoscia, Casarano Trio in Torbole sul Garda. While over the weekend there will be the Kachupada - Carmen Souza Quartet in Arco and Bardoscia & Casarano Duo to the suggestive Castle of Drena.
In the third week we will see the 2 For Duke - Dado Moroni & Max Ionata on July 10 in Riva del Garda, Rita Marcotulli Solo 11 in Nago, Deluxe Orchestra School & Training on July 12 in Torbole sul Garda e Rossana Casale - Tribute to Gaber in Rocca in Riva del Garda on 13.
The Garda Jazz Festival will close with an unmissable concert on Bojan Z Quartet - Special guest Gianluca Petrella, Sunday 14 July, in Riva del Garda at the Palazzo dei Congressi.
The main billboard will then be accompanied by numerous events organized in collaboration with the locals in the area. The now traditional Jazz Cafe and the funny ones Beach Parade, as well as a photographic exhibition and the screening of some films dedicated to this musical genre.
Admission to most of the concerts is free except for the final one and some of particular appeal.
