The restaurant Low 30 it is located in via Sant'Agostino 30 a TorinoIn the heart of the Quadrilatero district. The district is so called because it defines the city of Turin inmedieval era, only after the Savoy family moved the capital of their duchy to Turin did they feel the need for an expansion. In general, the whole quadrilateral is characteristic and interesting to see and visit both during the day and in the evening for the clubs and nightlife.
Here I ate at Basso 30, a really nice restaurants and intimate all in shades of red. The kitchen here remains open until 1.30 so if you like to live at night you will find in this place a very valid alternative to eat even late, after a long aperitif or an event. In addition there are also several outdoor tables for spring and summer evenings.
What are we eating. The presentation of the dishes isn't bad, but it's what's inside that counts. Among antipasti leek velvety, fondue, cheese and vegetable pies but also Piedmontese cured meats and cheeses. Since it was evening I skipped the first one and I dedicated myself to the second and you have sweets. For second I took a grilled chicken nippers on mixed salad (from the menu), a delicious chicken with vegetables for side dish. The focaccia, crunchy but soft inside, is homemade and is delicious. For end of dinner a gem ^ _ ^ chunks of chocolate, homemade, with Pedro Ximenes, a sherry, a fortified wine that together with the chocolate left one velvety mouth. In short, I am not a kitchen critic nor an oenologist, but these are the impressions.
Lo sherry it was so good that the next day I bought a bottle :) The prices are not too high, some dishes cost a little more but basically it is all very affordable. Cozy atmosphere and soft lighting, beautiful.
