Be late in Dishes it means taking a break for "breakfast" before returning home. This applies from midnight onwards. The pastry shops open all night they are in fact different and always very full. The most traditional is the one in the central Piazza Mercatale, the Fiaschi pastry shop, convenient if you have already parked your car in the area and maybe you have taken a stroll in the pubs of the historic center.
Then there is the Confectionery Republic, in viale della Repubblica in fact, not far from the motorway exit and therefore from the street if you return from an evening in the Florentine nightlife. I recommend, in this case, to be salty: excellent stuffed flatbreads just out of the oven.
Finally, my favorite, theOasis of the Gluttonous, in Piazza del Mercato, with convenient parking. It is the apotheosis of puff pastry: with nutella or cream they are a pleasure! Of course, don't forget to grab some extra treats for the real morning breakfast!
