La mozzarella di bufala campana dop is the protagonist of Obikà, a well-known restaurant chain present in major Italian and international cities. TO Firenze it is located in Via de 'Tornabuoni, not far from Palazzo Strozzi.
Each course, from appetizers to desserts, from first courses to pizzas and salads, is a celebration of Italian culinary excellence. Mozzarella is flanked by the best regional products: salami from cinta senese, carasau bread, capers from pantelleria, n'duja just to name a few. Each month they present a specialty, in September, for example, you can taste the pizza with buffalo mozzarella, Neapolitan papacella, tuna in oil, olives, capers, anchovies and basil. We had one brought fried food tasting, which turned out to be small for two people, and trofie with basil pesto, green beans and potatoes. How tasty!
Beautiful environments, both external and internal, both bright and minimalist. Simplicity and elegance blend perfectly. The prices ok, technically they are not really low cost, but for formal exits or for special occasions, we can make an exception to the rule.
