Il ParkHotel Laurin it is located in via Laurin 4 a Bolzano. The immense Hotel was born in 1910 immersed in a large park of about 4000 square meters. Recently refurbished in the late 90s the hotel has an Art Nouveau feel with temporary and permanent art installations. Laurin is certainly one of the landmarks of the city of Bolzano, in its 100 rooms it has hosted illustrious personalities, such as the Princess Sissi.
La my room it was on the top floor. The room was definitely great, with a sitting area, a beautiful and large window that in the morning allowed me to have a privileged view of the city of Bolzano and a really huge bathroom, in White marble. The size of the room is the thing that struck me the most, accustomed by now in these small and modest hotels to have a skimpy room, here there was really space to sell. I almost didn't know which way to open the suitcase :)
Lo staff the hotel is courteous, as can be expected in these large hotels which have a remarkable reputation to uphold. Furthermore Bolzano is not a big city, but I assure you that this hotel has an enviable position because it is located in 400 meters from the station and just over 1 km from the main squares of the city.
La breakfast, sweet and savory, is served from 7 to 10 in the morning in the restaurant. The frescoes of the salon keep company while you eat and Italian and foreign newspapers are available for all guests used to keeping themselves informed about what is happening in the world. Honestly, I really enjoyed it even though I missed the large garden behind the hotel. Unfortunately the short time prevented me from taking a ride.
The Hotel it is not low cost, we are talking about a very special place, one of the most renowned hotels in Bolzano, but obviously if booked well in advance and following the offers ... you can find stays in good price.
