If you live in Firenze or surroundings and decide to take a trip to the Romagna Riviera (for example in Rimini, Riccione or Cattolica, but also Pesaro in the Marche) using the train, here is a fantastic opportunity to save.
In fact, if you look for it on the Trenitalia website Florence-Rimini, you will be offered a single route with a stopover in Bologna, the expense of which varies between 38 and 43.5 €, for a total duration of the journey of approx 2 ore and ten (various combinations of Frecciargento + Inctercity or Regionale).
The trick to saving is to leave from the station money order, a town located 20 minutes by car (16 Km) from Florence: in fact, to cover the route Money order-Rimini you will only pay 13.65€, employing 2 hours and a half with a stopover in Faenza (combination of regional train plus Intercity). Keep in mind that to take the train to the center of Florence it takes 30 minutes by bus if you go on foot or 15 by car, but in this case you will have to add 18 euros per day of parking (which in Vaglia instead is free).
If you really are without a car, you can also leave directly from Florence (Santa Maria Novella or Campo di Marte station) with destination Faenza, where you will make a stopover, adding 25 minutes and an extra euro.
As you can see, on a round trip you will save at least 50-60 € with only 40 minutes more by train, money that you will surely spend more willingly in restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
