An all too easy prophecy, the tenor of the restaurant did not let a long future glimpse, BVeg has closed for some time.
I wanted to try a vegetarian in Florence which looked promising. The area is that of the Santa Maria Novella station, via degli Orti Oricellari 6R. The place is called BVeg, it's nice and the staff very kind.
The experience, however, was disappointing and I tell you why. There is a nice little room with nice tables, nice atmosphere. You sit at a set table and find that you can only eat vegetarian burgers or various sandwiches. Only one dishes cooked, that of the day.
Can you have dinner with a not too big sandwich? No, in my opinion not, and it costs 7,50 euros.
In short, a nice idea - nice the slogan vegItalian food - to eat vegetarian and drink craft beers of various origins, national and foreign, unfortunately turns out to be really expensive. At the end of the dinner, after having eaten a sandwich with beer and a dessert, the bill is that of a dinner at the restaurant.
If you are in the Santa Maria Novella area and you are vegetarian or vegan and desperate for the offer of the area, between fast food and pizza by the slice go there; otherwise forget it.
